Authors need reviews, especially reviews from people who love their books. This is true for Paperbacks, eBooks, and Audiobooks.
Why? There are so many reasons. Reviews help readers to find authors and stories they love, because they TRUST other listeners. Reviews help books stand out from the crowd. Reviews can also lift an author's spirits when they're down and encourage them to keep going. :-) Reviews help authors to market their books, to understand their audiences, and to grow their readership.
Authors. Need. Reviews.
I have an amazing review team for my paperbacks. A-Maze-Ing. But there are a lot of them who do not enjoy audiobooks, or who haven't the time, and I am limited in the number of audiobooks I can give away. Seriously limited. Audible has a lot of rules. For these reasons, I'm opening up a new team, open to the first 100 applicants.
Here is the Important Part:
To receive Audible Codes for my books, you must already have:
An Audible Account (Easy to Do)
A Device for Listening
The Desire to Write Reviews (Because they're great for me AND the narrator.)
I've tried a few other avenues to find audio listeners, and it is difficult to find listeners who will pick up the book AND review in a timely manner - timely being 60 days, and still no reviews.
I absolutely CANNOT give you a code in EXCHANGE for a review, but I would much prefer to share with people who understand the importance of a review. Even if they hate the book. :-)
