Rebecca & Christian
This book is my favorite as of October 2018. This book sucked me in, captured my imagination, and then underwent the most painful editing of all my books thus far.
The hero of this book, Christian, nearly took over the whole book. He's broken, at the beginning of this story, and all I wanted was to scoop him off the pages and give him a hug.
Rebecca, on the other hand, is mischievous, fun-loving, imaginative, and witty. I knew, if anyone could help Christian, she would.
I was doing dishes, in the middle of working on The Earl and His Lady, when a full conversation burst into my consciousness. The conversation was between a man and a woman, the man insisting love is nothing and the woman that it is everything. I barely took the time to dry off my hands before jotting the conversation down - and you can read it in its entirety in Miss Devon's Choice. It's the conversation these two have in the boathouse. ;-) I hope you enjoy it.
