That's the title page for my book, just above this text. Isn't it fun and lovely and evocative of the American West? I'm so thankful for a wonderful friend who helped me find just the right design for this new series. Because my first Western, Silver Dollar Duke, is the first in a SERIES. At the moment, I have three glorious Western romances planned. I'm hoping the writing and releasing of the others won't be as nerve-wracking as this first release. It's been a bit crazy of a trip to get this done.... This is the book art on the "opposite page," as we call it. You know when you have a new chapter start on the right of a book, but the page to the left is blank? Several publishers have started filling that blank with images related to the story. I'm so glad we found this one. It's perfect. (Oh, but hey, don't use it without permission. I bought it fair and square from the artist!) Oh, and I can't forget to share Izzie. She was a big part of this writing thing. She kept me company every late night I was in my office. Every time I wanted to bang my head against my keyboard. She was there, being sweet and fluffy, and inspiring the ranch dogs in my book - Fable and Gus. I hope you enjoy my first western. It's truly wonderful to have it out in the world. And I can finally relax... Until the next book deadline.

Izzie's beautiful, but she doesn't look very happy to be having her picture made.

She was very anxious to be a good girl to get her treat. So she does look a little more serious than normal. (I say this with her on my bed, laying like she's a human, with her tongue lolling out. Ha.)
